When we wandered around in Deira this Saturday, we passed a store selling different bikes and eletrical vehicles. Among others we found a Go-Ped, a small electric scooter. I have always wanted one of these - and when the seller toled us the price was 300 AED there were no doubts; I just had to get one of these.

After lunch today I went to the old town and managed to haggle the price down to 250 AED, which equals just above 400 NOK. Amazing! I doubt it is very wise to take it into the local traffic - but it is perfect for getting back and forth from the vessel and the office :D

Lars visiting

Lars dropped by Dubai on his way to Qatar. We celebrated Rachels birthday at the Cellar the thursday, where we were 20 peaople for dinner. A fun night out.

After a 3 hours relaxing stay at the beach, the rest of the Friday was spent at the Barast Yatch Club. Here we are having some Schrimps and Champagne.

When the sun set the place got very crowded and the atmosphere was amazing. Live music and a ton of young people and - Barasti is the place to be :)

Dubai Desert Challange

This weekend Dubai hosted the Desert Challange and a lot of the world best golf players were gathered at the Emirates Golfcourse.

Terryn and Michael in Dubai

Last week Michael (Rachels brother) and Tarryn (friend of Ryno) was in Dubai. We spent the weekend on the beach and at the Arabian Ranches Polo-club, watching some Gealic football.
