New years in the desert

At the stroke of midnight we found the highest sand dune in close vicinity, and admired the fireworks in the horizont sendt up over Dubai.

This is really only a picture of me putting more wood onto the bonfire. It came out a bit spooky..

Slightly hung over.. The dishdash is a really comfertable garment, airy in the summer and works as windbreaker in the winter. The most difficult part is to keep it white.

When the camping was over our dishdashes were terribly dirty - but I trust the guys at the drycleaning at the hotel will manage to remove the stains ;)
